i have a question (i am new to dreamweaver): do you have to make your links buttons or can they be part of your background image?

you can create your own link buttons via photoshop etc... then in dreamweaver you can place them in your page and link them up to the page you want it linked to.

you can also just use text. just highlight the text and link them up to the page you want it linked to.

regarding background images... well you can create a background image and on that image you can set a hotspot over that particular section of the background image and link them up to the page you want it linked to.

hope i cleared things for you...

i'll finish up the dreamweaver simplified tutorial soon... when i have time... i'm going live next week and hopefully i might get you on the phone when you call adobe tech support...

yeah well. after some hours of dreamweaver and confusion i figured i should touch up on XHTML and go from there, just using straight code cuz figuring out dreamweaver is way more than my brain can handle right now.

Hi...I am new to dreamweaver....from this site clips I hv learn beginings...and I hv try to slicing and convert in Html...but that is not perfect...bcoz..First I hv slicing the template and open in dreamweaver...then new Html open and all the slicing images put there...Then one by one text images deleted and put in place bgcolor and add text...but in bottom some spaces will come. In this way I hv start learn about CSS...and use it..internal.....Plz help with ur tutorial images.
